"One has gone to a single woman who lives alone, in subsized housing in Lincoln. She doesn’t get out of the house very much. She had prayying for a computer. This was an answer to her prayer, in her view. The parishioners who took the computer to her were also deeply touched by her gratitude and her excitement over the gift"
"Two have gone another family in St. Catharined a single mom, no job on welfare, trying hard to raise the children as best she can. The two kids will be able to use them for schoolwork: the mom is committed to setting aside some money each month so they can acces internt. Again, a very happy family with this unexpected blessing."
"One computer went to a young girls whose natural father abandoned the family several years ago and is now in jail. The mother has remarried a young man who is in the process of adopting the girl and she is delighted. The man was a drug addict, has gone straight and clean for five years and has held down a job during that time. The girl has ADHD, has trouble focusing, but is very creative. I have told her that when she graduates this year, she would receive a computer to go into next year. She is overjoyed."

The family has had many difficulties, out of work, and the grandparents are helping out, but the grandparents are not wealthy either. This family live in St. Catharined, in lower income housing. The kids are delighted."
